Covid-19: Thailand becomes latest country to delay the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine due to increasing reports of blood clotting

Thailand has become the latest country to delay the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine due to increasing reports of blood clotting worldwide.

In Europe, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Estonia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, and Iceland have already suspended the use of this vaccine due to reports of adverse events that have led to at least one known death, that of a female in Austria.

Some of these countries have insisted that the move to halt vaccinations with the AstraZeneca jab is ‘precautionary.’
