Two hospitals have temporarily banned visitors due to rising Covid numbers.
Cork’s Mercy Hospital and Cork University Hospital will only allow visitors on compassionate grounds for the time being.
The Government has also hinted that some restrictions might be reintroduced if cases keep rising.
