The UK has reported the death of 649 more people from Covid-19-related causes over the last 24h, bringing the total to over 30,000.
The total death toll there now stands at 30,076, the highest in Europe, and second highest in the world, just behind the United States.
The Chief Medical Officer in Britain, Sir Chris Whitty, recently warned about the possibility of a second wave of the coronavirus could be deadlier than the first.
