The World Health Organization (WHO) is warning that Irish people must understand that the coronavirus will linger ‘for several years.’
According to Dr. Margaret Harris, a WHO spokesperson, ‘there is no going back to the old ways’ before the pandemic hit.
The coronavirus situation keeps deteriorating at a rapid pace across Europe, with the UK likely to announce stricter measures shortly, for example.
Locally, the Dublin area was put under Level 3 lockdown this weekend.
