Today is Safer Internet Day 2016, and one Limerick teenager has received great praise for his video about the effects of cyber bullying.
The inspirational young man, 13-year-old Luke Culhane has been applauded by many for his take on the ever growing issue. The video is called #CreateNoHate, and Luke a student at Castletroy College in Limerick, recently spoke about why he decide to make it.
Young Like told reporters: “I have been cyber-bullied myself so that inspired me to make this video to help raise awareness for other people about how to handle cyber-bullying,” he said
“I wanted to show that it doesn’t have to be physical bullying to hurt someone so that’s why I showed the likeness between the two types of bullying. I felt that “Safer Internet Day” was an appropriate time to release this video to create discussion around the issue.”
