Aussies are well used to their outback creatures including snakes – but huntsman spiders aren’t exactly the most common animal Irish people are used to seeing.
Aussie tech journalist Marc Fennell took this pic of an enormous 8-legged spider which he spotted in Sydney and uploaded publicly to Twitter and privately to his Facebook page.
Irish people living in Oz need to beware of such creatures along with Irish people who intend on going out to Australia for a holiday.
Every so often I just think “farrrrrk living in Australia.” When my kids asked me at 7am if we should make breakfast for the spider too. That was one of those moments. ? pic.twitter.com/9dCrX3N4CT
