Customers to receive refunds from Dublin Bus as fourth day of strike action continues

leap

A large number of customers are in line to receive refunds on their travel cards, as Dublin Bus vehicles once again remain stationary at their depots.

According to Dublin Bus, the four days of strike action have cost the company somewhere in the region of 4m, though unions dispute this figure. Refunds to customers are likely to compound Dublin Bus’ financial woes.

There are 15 more days of strike planned for the coming weeks, as customers brace themselves for a long Autumn of commuting misery.

Annual and monthly Leap Card users will receive refunds for every day that the buses do not run. The refunds can be obtained at Dublin Bus’ head office on O’Connell Street.
