Customs officials have seized €500,000 worth of illegal drugs at Dublin Port following a search operation.
It is understood that officers seized 25kg of cannabis herb following a search on Thursday.
Officials say the drugs were found inside a container which arrived on a shipment from Almería in Spain.
It is understood that no arrests have yet been made, but Gardai say investigations are currently ongoing.
