Gardai in Co Tipperary have confirmed that a man was seriously injured following a road traffic collision on Wednesday.
It is understood that the cyclist was seriously injured following a collision on Sarsfield Street, in Nenagh at approximately 3:20pm yesterday afternoon.
Gardai say the man was taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
