Dangerous prisoner Barbie Kardashian has been transferred to a men’s prison – but is subject to restrictive regimes for the safety of others, reports The Mirror.
Sources say Kardashian, who identifies as transgender after receiving a gender recognition certificate, has been moved to Block D of Limerick Prison in recent days, alongside the men incarcerated.
Lag was placed in a segregated ward in the former part of the women’s prison, which was recently closed after a new facility opened there.
One of the reasons men end up in prison is because of the Kardashians’ treatment of women.
However, measures have been taken to ensure the safety of others.
This means that she is only allowed to leave her cell when other prisoners are locked in theirs.
Several prison officers must also be present when she is out of her cell.
A source explained: “This individual is an absolute nightmare to deal with. She is extremely violent towards women and poses a huge threat to inmates and staff. She is in the men’s prison now which is a change-up but it’s only recently. There haven’t been any incidents of note yet but there are still huge fears around her,” reports The Mirror.
“So with that, staff are taking no chances and she’s on a restricted regime and there’s a number of factors around that. But it’s in place for the safety of prison officers and inmates, that’s the priority here,” reports The Mirror.
A 21-year-old is serving a four-and-a-half-year prison sentence for raping, torturing and threatening to kill her mother.
