A few weeks ago, reports published showed a “Men in Black” protest in Denmark’s Copenhagen. The Men in Black protest was allowed to proceed to Denmark’s parliament building and protesters carried burning torches and flares.

An effigy of Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen made to look like North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was displayed throughout the protest.

The Copenhagen protest was marshalled by the Danish Police.

In contrast, this weekend, an Irish Anti-Lockdown protest took place in Dublin with Gardai in full riot gear including head protection, full body armour, batons and police dogs.

Rocket Man decided to take it upon himself to set off a firework in the direction of gardai who then moved to disperse the crowd. A number of arrests were made including a homeless man. One Garda attended hospital.
