The leaders of the main parties have once again (three times now) failed in their bids to become the next Taoiseach of Ireland.
Enda Kenny was defeated by 77 votes to 52, while Martin lost 43 against 91.
Roundly rejected, both leaders will now commit to ‘further talks’ to create a stable government ‘for the people.’
In the meantime, the possibility of another election inches ever closer, as it is clear now that no workable deal will be reached.
For now, everyone in the Dáil should remember Albert Einstein’s statement “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
