RTÉ News understands that officers investigating the discovery of the couple’s bodies at their Co Clare home are treating their deaths as a murder-suicide, reports RTE.
The bodies of Claire Collins and her husband Joe were found in two separate locations at their Kilnaboy home on Thursday afternoon.
Last night Gardaà confirmed that a file was being prepared for the coroner’s office following yesterday’s post-mortem examination, reports RTE.
Autopsy results are not published for operational reasons.
Investigators confirmed that they are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the death.
A funeral was organized for the couple.
Tomorrow they will rest in the church of St. Brigid in Corofin during the funeral mass from 5:00 p.m. it’s 7:30 p.m, reports RTE.
