Rail users are experiencing up to two hour delays out of Heuston Station in Dublin this afternoon and evening after a train bound for Cork became “stuck” near Kildare due to a mechanical fault.
Iarnrod Eireann has now confirmed that services are slowly returning to normal, with some delays expected.
Passengers on board stationary trains tweeted their complaints about lack of air conditioning and scarcity of food provided by the catering service.
