Denmark plan to start lifting Covid-19 restrictions after Easter

Denmark say they plan to start lifting Covid-19 restrictions after Easter if the number of cases remain stable.

Although the Danish government reiterated that life won’t immediately go back to normal, they do say they plan to open primary schools and lift strict measures on public transport.

The country who implemented strict restrictions on March 6th, say they hope by acting early the country has contained the spread of the virus and will therefore avoid a second wave.

Denmark who have been praised for introducing restriction measures early also say they plan to lift restrictions that would eventually allow workers to return to work.

However businesses such as hotels, pubs and restaurants will remain under restrictions for the immediate future.
