An status Orange Forest Fire Alert warning has been issued for over the bank holiday weekend.
In an announcement The Department of Agriculture has said the warning will be in place from Thursday April 18th to Tuesday April 23rd.
It is believed the warning was issued easterly high-pressure which will bring high temperatures this weekend.
According to forecasters the Easter Bank Holiday weekend is expected to see the warmest day of the year so far as temperatures could potentially reach 23C on Saturday.
