The Department of Education have confirmed that this year’s Leaving Certificate will take place in November.
In an announcement made today, the department confirmed that the exams will begin on November 16th and will take place on evening and weekends.
The Department of Education also say Junior Certificate exams for adult learners and early school leavers will also take place in November.
It is understood that students who wish to take the exam can do so even if they opted for the calculated grades system earlier this summer.
