The Department of Tourism Trade and Sport have confirmed that a COVID-19 monitoring group has been setup.
It is understood the group which will involve Department officials, industry stakeholders and tourism agencies will monitor the impact of the virus on the tourism sector.
The group will also work with the Government on introducing a proportionate response if necessary.
