The Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn has urged pregnant women to use trusted sources for information on the Covid-19 vaccine.
Speaking about the rollout of the vaccine, Dr Glynn said that Ireland has reached another important milestone as 6.2 million doses have been administered to date.
However he urged those who are pregnant that have concerns to seek information on the vaccine from their GP, obstetricians or their midwife.
He added that information the HSE or the Department of Health cam be used for trusted information.
