New figures have revealed that almost 90% of Ireland’s adult population have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine dose.
Speaking about the vaccination uptake Professor Brian MacCraith, the Chairperson of the High Level Task Force on Covid-19 Vaccination said that 89% of the country’s adults have received at least one dose.
MacCraith also revealed that 78% of adults are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
The latest figures come as the vaccination programme is set to see 12 to 15 year olds receive their first vaccine beginning this weekend.
