TheLiberal.ie received this image of one of the emergency ambulances broken down just after departing from Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda this morning.7
The hospital which covers areas spanning from Co. Cavan down to the far side of Balbriggan and as far over as Westmeath, was left one ambulance down just before midday today.
TheLiberal.ie feels Minister for health, James Reilly would be better suited to ensuring that all ambulances are as new as possible or at least fully and regularly serviced. Lives could have been lost today as a result of this breakdown, meanwhile James Reilly’s ludicrous pension has just recently been increased. It’s a despicable outrage.
