Pope John Paul 2nd and Pope John 23rd have been canonised as Saints today.
With up to 1 million people in St. Peter’s Square, Pope Francis presided over proceedings with dignitaries from across the globe.
The Taoiseach, Enda Kenny had a brief meeting with Pope Francis who he invited to come and visit Ireland in 2015. The Pope said he would be very interested and very eager to come to Ireland over the coming year or two.
