Disgraced P&O Ferries is refusing to rehire the 800 people it recently sacked so the company could take on workers on less than minimum wage.
The British Government is attempting to compel the slavery-type ferry company to take the original staff back, but P&O Ferries says that it can’t, as the positions have now been filled by people earning a token amount for full work on the ships.
British authorities have temporarily detained two ships due to safety concerns about the crew’s work capabilities.
