An Afghan migrant who tried to get back into the UK had already been expelled from England after raping a 12-year-old girl.
According to the Daily Mail, 28-year-old Email Kochai received a jail sentence of nine years in 2014 for the rape of the child. It is said that he served just half of his sentence before being deported back to Afghanistan.
He tried to get back into the UK but police arrived and he was moved to the Grande Synthe camp near Dunkirk. He was defiant about the situation, insisting to The Times that he has “changed his ways” and doesn’t like talking about what he calls a “misunderstanding”. The Daily Mail reported that Kochai was taken in by a foster family after arriving in the UK when he was 15. Five years later he was charged and found guilty of raping the little girl
Kochai said he was 15 when he arrived in the UK and was eventually taken in by a foster family in Hungerford, Berkshire.
Five years later he was charged and later found guilty of raping a 12-year-old girl in a house in East Reading, a crime he denied. He was thrown out of the UK but then fled from Afghanistan and is said to have travelled through several countries before reaching France. He is said to be waiting for another chance to get into the UK and, according to the Daily Mail, said that he would never stop trying to get into the country, saying “I have been in France for three months and we don’t get anything. In the UK I can get education, a job and a house.”
