In what can only be described as a rootless move, Minister for Communicatsion Denis Naughten has says An Post will have freedom to determine their own prices as allegedly the company is financially unsustainable.
Naughten says the changes will come into place in the new year once new legislation is enacted.
An Post says the global trend of e-substitution for postal mail is impacting on An Post’s business and they need more funds.
