Three girls have sparked outrage after they posted a photo of themselves doing Nazi salutes outside Auschwitz.
The distasteful act which was shared on Instagram before being quickly removed, has caused outrage amongst holocaust memorial groups who have branded the girls actions as disgusting and ignorant.
It is believed the shocking photo was discovered by the Racist and Xenophobic Behaviour Monitoring Centre, Facebook group.
Upon sharing the photograph they posted the following caption: ‘The girl’s “prank” proves how education about the horrors of the Holocaust and totalitarian systems is needed, especially with anti-Semitism growing in Poland.’
‘young people unknowingly absorb hateful content’.
It is believed authorities the investigating the incident have informed the girls school about the incident.
