
The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has strongly condemned what happened in Dublin Friday night declaring it to be completely unacceptable.
Some Fourteen people in total were arrested, including five juveniles, for public order offences in the south city centre, stemming mostly from a brawl that broke out on South William Street.
According to RTE, Donnelly said what happened in the South William Street area “was nothing short of a disgrace” and was “thuggish behaviour and completely unacceptable”.
More footage of fights emerged on social media as more people congregating in city centres around the country over Saturday night. Again today, gardai say they’ll be ready to take drink off people and intervene when they think they need to.
