Whether you like going to pubs or not or whether you missed going to a pub not, the day has finally come that so-called “wet pubs” are allowed to reopen, at least outside of the capital.
Heavy restrictions including social distancing, table service and absolutely no big groups congregating together is allowed though. It’s a fairly strict regime.
With the way that numbers are going over the past two weeks, the vintners association of Ireland are concerned with how long pubs will be able to remain open if further lockdown restrictions are to be imposed by the Fianna Fail/Fine Gael government.
