The Minister for Higher Education Simon Harris said that Ireland is currently at a crossroads and we need to act now.
Speaking to RTE’s This Week In Politics programme, the former Minister for Health said that the country needs to act now in order to avoid going back to event of March and April.
Harris told the programme that the country has a narrow window and we all have a decision to make in order to surpress the virus.
He added that the Government has acted on advice given out by the National Public Health Emergency Team earlier this week.
