A driver and his two dogs were rescued from a river in Wyoming this week after the man’s truck was partially submerged in icy water.
The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday released footage of the night-time body camera rescue, which lasted about 30 minutes from the time of the rescue call to the driver being placed in an ambulance, authorities told ABC News.
A team of first responders, including sheriff’s deputies, rescuers, firefighters and volunteers trained in ice and water rescue, arrived at the scene after a nearby man saw what was happening and called 911 around 10pm. Local time on Sunday.
Thankfully the man and his dogs were rescued from the water with the driver recovering in hospital.
