The coming weekend is expected to be rather breezy and cooler than in recent days.
It’s not all bad news, however, as rain is expected to stay away.
Thursday and Friday are expected to be dry days, with temperatures reaching afternoon highs of 12-14C in most parts, though probably milder in the south midlands and east, with 15-17C, and possibly 18C in certain areas.
Nights will be rather cold due to lack of cloud cover, and the formation of mist and fog is likely.
There will be plenty sunshine on Saturday and Sunday, and the weather in the early days of next week is expected to be settled as well, as high pressure over Scotland will be predominant.
