Police offricers in the Scottish city have confirmed that a 21-year-old man has been detained, and also that they are following a “definite line of enquiry” in the investigation of missing of Irish nurse Karen Buckley.
Greater Glasgow police issued a brief statement today to say that enquiries were ongoing, and further updates would be provided during the course of the investigation.
24-year-old Karen Buckley has not been seen or heard from in four days. She was last spotted on CCTV speaking to a man during a night out in Glasgow.
Her handbag was found in Dawsholm Park yesterday, and police are also searching a nearby flat in connection with the case.
