
Members of the Dublin Fire Brigade have been praised for their heroic efforts after rescuing two people from the River Liffey in Dublin last night.
It is understood members from the Dublin Fire Brigade were called to the scene at approximately 8.30pm last night after two people were spotted in the water near the Ha’penny bridge. Reports say Four units of the fire brigade arrived at the scene and rescued the people from the water,
The pair were later taken to St James’s Hospital and were treated for their non-life threatening injuries.
