A man has been declared a ‘hero’ ae he managed to rescue his family in a huge house fire in Palmerstown, Dublin at 2am last night.
The man managed to carry all of his family, wife and three children individually from the home to the front garden as neighbours watched in aw. His neighbours minded all family members as the man consistently went back into the smoke-ridden house.
Firemen say his actions, although extremely dangerous, saved the lives of his entire family and he is being heralded as a hero.
He suffered smoke inhalation and other minor injuries but is said to be recovering well in hospital this morning.
