
Dublin has seen Level 3 restrictions imposed since Friday night with the capital now firmly the focus of the HSE’s coronavirus concerns in Ireland.
Other counties too are seeing high numbers, including County Donegal and County Louth but it’s understood that these counties could be experiencing “staycation” numbers where people congregating in scenic areas like Malin Head and Carlingford during the recent good weather.
On Sunday evening, the Department for Health confirmed that no people had died from coronavirus but that there were a further 396 cases of Covid-19 in the Republic of Ireland with 241 of those cases being detected in Dublin alone.
It now remains to be seen whether Dublin will be lowered to Level 2 or increased to Level 4.
