Facebook may have introduced its new reaction options last night but one group of people will be immediately hitting its new anger button feature as the worlds biggest social media website has come in for strong criticism from the Dublin Well Woman Centre.
The social media website has received an angry response from the women’s group and the general public after they removed a post made by the group recently. Facebook removed the women’s charity’s post which outlined the details on how to carry out a proper breast cancer check, claiming the picture provided was ‘overly sexual’.
The picture in question apparently features three drawings of a woman examining her breasts for cancer. It is believed the social networking website told the Dublin Well Woman Centre that the post was blocked for “showing a lot of skin or cleavage and focusing unnecessarily on specific body parts.”
