The drugs were seized off a yacht located near the Cork coastline earlier today.
Three men, believed to be British nationals, were arrested during the operation, which involved the Naval Service, Customs officers, and Gardai. The yacht was brought to Cork harbor.
The drugs would have an estimated street value of between €70-€80 million.
