A rain warning has been issued by Met Éireann for four counties as strong rains are moving across Ireland, reports Breaking News.
The national forecaster stated that there is a chance of localised flooding in Dublin, Louth, Meath, and Wicklow on Friday night. There is also a chance of heavy rain and maybe thunderstorms.
The status-yellow alert will be in place from Friday at 8 p.m. to Saturday at 6 a.m, reports Breaking News.
The remainder of the nation will also have sporadic showers, some of which may combine to produce prolonged rainy periods with the possibility of thunderstorms and localised floods.
Sunny periods are expected on Saturday, although Met Éireann warned there would be some showers in the north and west that will spread to other locations in the afternoon and evening. Peak temperatures will range from 13 to 17 degrees, reports Breaking News.
