Budget airline easyJet canceled no fewer than 44 flights, affecting almost 10,000 people.
The flights were scheduled to depart from Gatwick, easyJet’s main base.
The airline has also ‘pre-emptively canceled’ dozens of other flights scheduled to depart over the next few weeks.
Passengers are advised to check with easyJet before going to the airport.
