Eight men who were found hiding onboard a ship at Belview Port, on Wednesday have been deported it has been revealed.
According to RTÉ News, Gardai confirmed that the eight men have been sent back to Cherbourg, on Thursday.
It is understood the men were sent back after they were assessed by Gardai on Thursday.
The men are believed to have travelled from France to Waterford on Wednesday.
