Police in the UK have sadly confirmed that an 82-year-old man has died after being attacked by a herd of cows over the weekend.
According to Metro.co.uk, the man was sadly killed after he and his wife were attacked by the herd whilst walking in a field in Ivescar, North Yorkshire.
It is understood that the incident occurred at approximately 1:45pm on Saturday afternoon.
Police investigating the incident say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene despite the attempts of emergency personnel.
They added that his wife a 78-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment after she sustained bruising following the incident.
