After rowdy protestors were dispersed off the streets around midnight Irish time, President Donald Trump walked across the park to St. John’s Church, known as “The Church of the Presidents,” which was set on fire during a protest at the weekend. Proudly holding a Bible, President Trump stood with several of his Cabinet members and said:
“We have the greatest country in the world,” Trump declared. “We’re going to keep it safe.”
President Trump said that he would mobilize “thousands and thousands” of soldiers to keep the good people of America safe and that if governors did not use the National Guard to shut down the protests and do their job, that he would do it for them.
