Sinn Féin could be on to score their biggest ever election result if latest polls are to be believed.
According to the Irish Times/Ipsos MRBI opinion poll, Mary Lou McDonald’s party has become the most popular with voters at 25%.
In a shift that could potentially lead to an upset this Saturday, the poll show’s that Sinn Féin is the most popular amongst quarter of all voters.
According to The Irish Times, Fianna Fáil are second on the list at 23%, whilst Fine Gael are third at 20%.
The poll also found that Independents are 18%, whilst Labour is at 4%.
The Irish Times reports that the poll took place from Thursday to Saturday last week.
