
The European Medicines Agency have revealed that a rolling review of Russia’s Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine is being carried out.
In an announcement EMA Executive Director Emer Cooke, said the review is being carried out in the hope that the vaccine can be used across the continent.
Cooke said a review of data and the facilities were the vaccine is being manufactured are taking.
She also said that talks have taken place with the vaccine manufacturers.
Meanwhile Cooke also revealed that the agency are currently reviewing the Curevac and Novax vaccines.
The news comes as the EU have urged AstraZeneca to honour its vaccine contract with the bloc.
