Emergency services have retrieved a body from the water at the base of the Cliffs of Moher.
It is understood that the alarm was raised after someone was seen falling off the cliff on Monday afternoon.
The body was retrieved on Tuesday afternoon.
Gardai said that they’re now standing down the search for a man missing from Co. Mayo.
