All 735 Toys ‘R’ Us stores across the United States are set to close down for good in the near future, thus marking the end of a 70-year long business.
The company, which has not made a full-year profit since 2012, is facing an unsustainable $5bn debt. 31,000 jobs are now likely to be lost.
It was announced yesterday that all Toys ‘R’ Us stores across the UK will also close over the next few weeks.
