Norma Foley has announced that two errors in the calculated marks process for the Leaving Certificate will be corrected and the process will be revisited with a series of independent reviews.
Speaking to the Department of Education this afternoon, Minister Foley said ministry inspections indicated that this would affect some of the calculated scores already published and that some students would receive a calculated grade higher in one or more subjects than when they originally received on September 7th.
