Gardai have seized over €100k from a gang involved in a roofing and guttering scam.
Gang members usually targeted elderly or vulnerable people living alone, offering ‘repairs’ to their house’s roof or gutters, then charging huge amounts for poor or non-existent work.
The gang mostly operates around the capital.
In total Gardai, seized €138,511 spread across three separate bank accounts.
