Lidl have issued a recall for vacuum cleaners amid fears of fire risk.
In an announcement the supermarket chain said they were recalling the SilverCrest Handheld Vaccum cleaner over a potential fire risk.
Lidl say the vaccum cleaners which went on sale on September 21st have the following model number 339791_1910 and the serial number is 008602.
It is understood that a fault has been found were a fire could potentially occur during charging and whilst in use.
Lidl say 2,204 vaccum cleaners were sold in Ireland.
Anyone who purchased a vaccum can return the product in store for a full refund.
