It has been revealed that the ex-Console CEO Paul Kelly billed an €80 speeding fine to Console because of a ‘rush to a suicide prevention’.

An audit of the floundered charity shows that three trips were made to Australia, including trips to museums in Sydney and even a zoo in Singapore.

Kelly’s Mercedes CLS car worth €30,000 and an Audi jeep were taken control of by David Hall yesterday afternoon.

Kelly billed a motoring fine of €80 to his Console card on January 23, 2012, the audit reveals.

He said that he was “attending a critical incident of suicide”. “A payment of a motoring fine is a payment in relation to a person breaking the law and is not an appropriate use of public funds and charitable donations,” the auditors said.
